No business shall use, handle, store, possess and/or locate a hazardous material within
the City of Auburn Hills without a hazardous materials operating permit issued pursuant
to this chapter, the adopted Fire Code, Section 14i of Act 154, as amended, and Section
5p of the Michigan Fire Prevention Code (Act 207, as amended). All businesses shall
complete and file a business information form and hazardous materials survey with
the fire department, regardless of whether they have hazardous materials or not upon
request of the code enforcement official.
